Appearance: Kanari has beautiful, long black hair and piercing green eyes. Her eyes are dotted with dark brown, and it gives her eyes a quality that makes you not want to look away, almost hypnotizing.
Clothing: She always wears white, usually a dress or robe. Occasionally she wears normal clothes to blend with the crowd, but not usually.
Occupation: Traveling Sorceress
Personality: Kanari usually is out traveling, but occasionally for a year or two, she stays at her home studying more spells and making potions. When traveling and she sees someone doing a good deed, she gives them a gift. She tries to free slaves from slavery as much as possible, and when she sees it, saves people from death. She loves to collect artifacts and, when a good deed is great enough, parts with one of her artifacts. She punishes people who do bad things. She aids Aslan and anyone who comes in his name.
Strengths: Is kind, brave, has almost no fears, and has a lot of empathy.
Weaknesses: She has a fear of dark dwarfs (who killed her only brother), can be easily ambushed because of her kindness (though not easily hurt thanks to her powers), and sometimes (when pretending to be a normal person) her mouth gets her into trouble.
((You'd think after living for centuries she'd have learned, but nope.))
Belongings: Many artifacts- about 12 of them with her and 39 of them at home. I'll only describe 5 of the ones she carries with her, the ones she uses most often. She shrinks many of her items that are too large to put in her pocket.
Amulet of Light~ Gives hope and a clear mind to the wearer, and when the powers are used, can stun others with a bright flash.
Crystal Ring~ Can teleport the user and anyone touching the user and heal others.
Shield of Fire~ Is constantly on fire and only doesn't burn the rightful owner, and is impenetrable. If the Shield is seperated from it's true owner, no one could have stolen it, then it comes back to the owner on its own accord. Only if the owner, Kana, gives it to somebody of her own free will is when it will not return to her.
Power Sword~ Has been passed down since Kana's family can ever remember, this sword has even seen battles from The Witch's old world. Over the years, so many chantments have been placed on it even Kanari cannot remember what all the spells were. Sometimes it does things that amaze everyone, but it always does something to help a situation, as if it had a mind of its own.
Bow of Truth~ Changes any normal arrows put into it into differing types of arrows; diamond arrows, fire arrows, ice arrows, poison arrows, or light arrows (knocks the victum out for a week). The arrows, once its destination is certain, will always hit the target.
History: Kanari grew up in Calormen, as a slave. She got separated from her brother when she was 9 and he was 7.
A witch, one who tried to copy The White Witch's powers, bought her from her Tarkann Lord. The witch bought her so that Kanari could collect herbs for her, and buying food from the market, making a garden, cleaning and cooking, etc. The witch was not strict about Kanari learning magic; on the contrary, she spoke to Kanari of all her spells, what she knew of magic, and other such things. One day, Kanari tried magic on her own. The witch saw her and, seeing her natural gift for the Powers, took her on as her apprentice.
Kanari learned all about the dark magic, but soon she realized she did not want to be a dark witch. She wanted to be a good witch. She secretly used her newfound powers to get money and bought several good magic spell books, and the one who sold them to her was an old lady, wearing all white. Kanari came back every marketday, and bought herbs for her own good potions, magic artifacts, and more spell books.
One day, the old lady inquired about her. Kanari explained to her about herself, trusting the lady, and the old lady revealed herself to be a sorceress. The old lady said that she had a granddaughter who had been enslaved by the Calormens, and she knew that Kana was her granddaughter. Kanari left the evil witch, and her grandmother taught her all about the good magic and Kanari grew up to be a powerful sorceress.
Her father was a calormen, with her sorceress grandmother on her mom's side.
Other notes: She is very tall, because her father was extrodanarily tall and her mother was taller than average.
